Seven Gardens – Wiesbaden
On the Schiersteiner Berg in Wiesbaden, a new administrative campus called Seven Gardens is being developed on an area of around 20,000 m². The terraced building structure creates green courtyards of different sizes and accessibility, offering habitats for wildlife while enhancing the quality of the working environment.
Studio Animal-Aided Design was commissioned to develop an AAD concept for the entire site and a detailed façade design for one of the buildings. Target species were selected based on habitat potential within the development. The site’s proximity to surrounding dry habitats allows species from nearby areas to migrate in, supported by green roofs designed as dry habitats.
